What's possible with a Team
As a valued contributor to our mission, we thought you’d enjoy an inspiring glimpse into what your support has made possible for our Foundation in 2023-2024. Together, we’ve been changing lives, opening doors, and shaping brighter futures!
Scholarships Awarded: Real Stories, Real ImpactWe are proud to have awarded scholarships to deserving young women, helping them chase their dreams with confidence. These scholarships aren’t just numbers, they represent real people whose lives are being transformed.
In 2024, we had over 110 applicants from 18 different schools/colleges. Our reach was far and wide:
High Schools: Baldwin Park, Bell Gardens, Bishop Amat, Downey, Highland, La Habra, La Serna, Paramount, Riverside Poly, South Hills, Village Christian, Whittier
Universities: University of California (Irvine, Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Marcos), Loyola Marymount University, and San Francisco State University
Each applicant had to submit a 500-700 essay that inclued a short biography about herself, her career aspirations, her dreams and goals for the future, and how this scholarship will help her achieve it. In addition, she also had to describe (in less than 300 words) any hardships or challenges she's faced and how she overcame them.
Although we would have loved to grant scholarships to everyone, that wasn't possible. However, we were able to increase the number of 2024 scholarships granted from 2023. As we continue to grow, we'll be able to help more ladies.
